Who in the world am I? Ah, that’s the great puzzle!

“Be what you would seem to be – or, if you’d like it put more simply – never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.” L.C.

Ok, so 2010 has become the year of “Alice in Wonderland” with the new Tim Burton’s film. There have been a lot of different opinions about the movie. Personally I like it, I love Tim Burton and I have a fixation with Alice, so the combination is just perfect.

Since I was a child “Alice” became my icon of worship. I can’t remember now how many times I have read Lewis Carrol book’s:    “ Alice in Wonderland” and “ Alice Thought the looking Glass”.  Also I have watched a lot of films versions and at the end I think I end up living down the rabbit hole too.

The first-ever film version of Lewis Carroll’s tale has recently been restored by the BFI National Archive from severely damaged materials. Made just 37 years after Lewis Carroll wrote his novel and eight years after the birth of cinema, the adaptation was directed by Cecil Hepworth and Percy Stow, and was based on Sir John Tenniel’s original illustrations.
